How we make money

Participating providers pay us a flat advertising or marketing fee. For real estate settlement services (lenders, title and closing, insurance), the fee is the same no matter which provider you choose and isn't tied to whether you close or how big your loan or purchase is. We don't accept referral fees for steering you to a settlement service provider, and you're always free to shop.

Affiliated business disclosure

TheBayPros' owner is related to a licensed Florida real estate professional who may be introduced to buyers and sellers who ask for an agent. You're never required to use that agent, no fee is paid for those introductions, and you may choose any real estate professional.

Before a provider participates

We check licensing where Florida requires it: DBPR for real estate and home inspection, OFR for mortgage loan originators, the Department of Financial Services for insurance agents, FDACS for movers, and The Florida Bar for attorneys. We also review reviews and complaint history.

Requests in areas without a participating provider

If no participating provider covers your request yet, we may tell local providers that a request exists, without sharing your name or contact details, and connect you only after a provider has signed our participation agreement. You can opt out at any time.
